Dwynell Williams, the founder and owner of Catering with a Flair, is a native of Oxford, Georgia. In Oxford, she was educated in the public school system and graduated as valedictorian from Washington High School. She went on to graduate from Spelman College in 1960 with a B.A. in Psychology and Education. She furthered her studies at Georgia State University in 1971 with a Masters Degree as a Reading Specialist.
In 1985, she went on to study at Atlanta University in the field of Education Leadership. Ms. Williams was employed by The Atlanta Board of Education from 1963 until 1997. During that time period, she taught grades 1 thru l2. She has been an involved member of Friendship Baptist Church since 1967.
While still working as a school teacher Ms.
She employs five full time employees and fifteen part time employees. Catering with a Flair has serviced numerous corporations, universities, churches, families and various celebrities from and outside the Atlanta area.
Occasions served are corporate events, birthdays, anniversaries, holiday gatherings, weddings and a host of other events. Her work has been published in Southern Living and Modern Bride She has received volunteer award from the City of Atlanta. As well as an award from the World Congress Center for her catering services.
Although she has had numerous accomplishments and achieved a major goal of owning her own business, Ms. Williams continues to have goals. She aspires to publish an upscale cookbook with a multicultural flair. She also aspires to open a facility that will host various events that have an upscale flair. |
